She has thirty-four years of life-cycle development, program management and business development experience with information, database, highly secure network communications, acoustic display, and modeling & simulation systems.
As Department Manager for Distributed Mission Networking from 2009 - 2018, Lisa Harris managed Firm Fixed Price portfolios with contracts primarily supporting USAF distributed mission operations. Her business development activities leveraged a secure, world-wide network and Northrop Grumman Intellectual Property developed for “Fee for Service” contract. Her business capture strategies brought capabilities to new DoD and International customers and adapted capabilities for new markets using organic growth vision, contact planning, effective marketing, and Product Line management.
Ms. Harris managed the USAF Distributed Mission Training (DMT) Operations and Integration (O&I) contract and its predecessor Distributed Mission Operations Network (DMON) 2.0 for a combined fifteen years of operation with “Excellent” award term ratings and Purple CPARs from the customer.
Ms. Harris attended Swarthmore College, graduating with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Engineering (1989) and earned a Masters of Advanced Study in Architecture-based Enterprise Systems Engineering from University of California, San Diego (2014). For enhanced international business management, she attended the United Kingdom Joint Service Command Staff College, Advanced Command & Staff Course 18, Policy and Strategic Defense Module. She has a Six Sigma Blackbelt and is proficient in German as a second language.
