Vice Admiral Krzysztof Jerzy Jaworski was born on June 5, 1966 in Gdynia. In 1985, he began his studies at the Faculty of Navigation and Naval Armament at the Naval Academy. After completing it, in 1990, he was assigned to the 3rd Flotilla of Ships, to the 2nd Missile Ships Squadron, for his first official position, commander of the missile and artillery department on ORP "Metalowiec", passing all command levels to the commander of ORP "Hutnik" in the years 1994 - 1997.

Then, until 2001, he held positions in the squadron staff: flag officer and deputy squadron commander-chief of staff. The next positions are the head of the Operations Section at the Headquarters of the 3rd Flotilla of Ships and the senior specialist of the Operations Department of the Naval Operations Directorate N-3 of the Naval Staff. In March 2007, he took the position of the Missile Ship Squadron Commander.

In 2010, he was sent to serve in the Team of the Assistant to the Chief of the General Staff for the Navy at the General Staff of the Polish Armed Forces in Warsaw. Two years later, in 2012, he returned to Gdynia, as the Head of the Command Training and Exercises Branch at the Naval Command. In 2013, he was the chief of staff in the division of the deputy commander for support of the NATO Training Mission (NTM-A) in Afghanistan. After returning from the mission, he started his service in the Armament Board of the MW Inspectorate of the General Command of the Polish Armed Forces, and then, in June 2014, he was sent to postgraduate defense policy studies at the National Defense University in Washington (USA). After graduation, in August 2015, he took over the duties of the Chief of Staff of the 8th Coastal Defense Flotilla in Świnoujście. By the decision of the Minister of National Defense of May 2, 2016, he was appointed commander of the 3rd Flotilla of Ships in Gdynia. On November 29, 2016, on board the historic destroyer ORP Błyskawica, he was nominated for the rank of rear admiral by the President of the Republic of Poland, Andrzej Duda. On May 7, 2018, he was appointed Commander of the Maritime Operations Center - Commander of the Maritime Component. On August 15, 2018, during the celebration of the Polish Army Day, he was nominated by the President of the Republic of Poland, Andrzej Duda, for the rank of vice admiral.
